Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies. By providing end-to-end payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products in a single global solution, Adyen helps businesses achieve their ambitions faster. With offices around the world, Adyen works with the likes of Facebook, Uber, H&M, eBay, and Microsoft. To maintain our momentum, we need people to join us in finding new ways of solving our unique challenges.
AML Compliance Officer Financial Products
A key part of building our business is ensuring we do it ethically, securely, and sustainably. In order to do so, Adyen needs to understand and monitor at all times what happens on our platform and whether this is in line with regulations and our risk appetite. And that in a scalable, automated, and adaptive way.
To achieve this, we are looking for a Financial Products AML Compliance Expert to join our AML/CFT Compliance Department based in Amsterdam, covering our global business. In this role, you act as the Second Line expert responsible for designing, maturing, and scaling our Financial Economic Crime (FEC) control frameworks specifically tailored for Adyen’s Financial Product Offering (e.g., Banking-as-a-Service, Embedded Card Issuing, or B2B Payouts).
As Adyen continuously innovates and expands its product suite, staying ahead of how new financial products and features could be misused by illicit actors is critical. Sitting in the Second Line of Defense, you will bridge the gap between complex product architecture, global AML regulatory expectations, and industry best practices. You will bring a macro-level framework vision, step back from operational detail, and strategically guide cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Are you a financial products specialist who thrives in complex product environments and excels at influencing senior stakeholders? Then this is the role for you!
Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments
Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity of backgrounds and cultures is essential in helping us maintain our momentum. Our business and technical challenges are unique, and we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours. No matter who you are or where you’re from, we welcome you to be your true self at Adyen.
Studies show that women and members of underrepresented communities apply for jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. Does this sound like you? If so, Adyen encourages you to reconsider and apply. We look forward to your application!
