Lead the Deal. Shape the Market. Build What’s Next.
If you thrive in high-stakes negotiations, enjoy turning opportunities into signed deals, and are energized by the challenge of winning in a competitive commercial real estate market, this role is for you.
As the Assistant Vice President for Commercial Leasing, you will take the lead in shaping the strategic direction and growth of our commercial leasing business. You will work closely with property owners, investors, and corporate tenants, manage high-value transactions, and lead a team that turns opportunities into successful deals.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to manage a pipeline. We are looking for a dealmaker—someone who sees opportunities, builds relationships, negotiates with confidence, and knows how to close.
What You’ll Do
1. Strategic Leasing Leadership
- Develop and execute leasing strategies that drive occupancy, revenue, and portfolio growth across assigned commercial properties.
- Identify opportunities to improve property positioning, tenant mix, and leasing performance.
- Lead, coach, and challenge the leasing team to consistently achieve and exceed business targets.
- Establish a strong performance culture focused on pipeline generation, conversion, negotiation, and closing.
2. Business Development & Deal Closing
- Own and oversee the end-to-end leasing process, from lead generation and prospecting to presentations, property tours, negotiations, contract execution, and post-closing relationship management.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective tenants and lessors.
- Personally lead strategic and high-value transactions where your experience and negotiation skills can make the difference.
- Develop creative leasing solutions and strategies to overcome objections and move deals toward closure.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to identify new accounts, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.
3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with property owners, investors, corporate tenants, and other key decision-makers.
- Serve as a senior-level representative of PRIME in complex negotiations and strategic discussions.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into commercially viable leasing strategies.
- Become a trusted advisor—not just a broker or intermediary—to key clients.
4. Market Intelligence & Commercial Strategy
- Monitor commercial real estate trends, rental rates, competitor activity, tenant preferences, and market movements.
- Use market intelligence and data to identify opportunities and strengthen leasing strategies.
- Provide senior management and clients with actionable leasing reports, market insights, and recommendations.
- Continuously explore new approaches to improve deal velocity, conversion, and revenue generation.
5. Brand Building & Industry Presence
- Represent PRIME in real estate forums, conferences, industry associations, and networking events.
- Expand PRIME’s network and market presence within the commercial real estate community.
- Build relationships that translate into new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential deals.
- Strengthen PRIME’s reputation as a trusted and results-driven commercial real estate consultancy.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a commercially driven leader and proven dealmaker who:
- Has strong experience in commercial leasing, real estate brokerage, or business development.
- Has a demonstrated ability to close complex or high-value transactions.
- Is confident in negotiation and comfortable dealing with senior-level clients and decision-makers.
- Has a strong business development mindset and knows how to build and convert a pipeline.
- Can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Is highly results-oriented and motivated by targets and measurable wins.
- Can inspire, coach, and challenge a team to perform at a higher level.
- Is resilient, persistent, and comfortable working through difficult negotiations and complex deals.
- Has the confidence to walk into a room, build credibility, influence stakeholders, and close the deal.
If closing a difficult deal gives you more satisfaction than simply managing an easy one, we want to meet you.
Join PRIME and take the lead in turning commercial opportunities into successful deals.
