About the Role
Practice Exceptional Medicine. Build Lasting Relationships. Love Where You Work.
For more than 65 years, Animal Hospital of Wilkes has been a trusted part of the Wilkesboro community, caring for generations of pets and the families who love them. As a well-established, five-doctor small animal practice, we've built our reputation on compassionate care, collaborative teamwork, and a commitment to practicing high-quality medicine.
We're looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys building meaningful client relationships, values teamwork, and wants the support and resources to practice medicine their way. From having input into your schedule and appointment workflow to enjoying an occasional exotic pet or small ruminant in your caseload, there's room to shape a role that fits your interests and professional goals. Whether you're an experienced veterinarian or a recent graduate looking for strong mentorship, we'd love to meet you.
Interested in practice ownership? Animal Hospital of Wilkes offers a unique opportunity for veterinarians who aspire to become practice owners. Qualified doctors have the opportunity to purchase equity in the hospital, allowing you to build long-term wealth while maintaining the support and resources of Innovetive Petcare. Whether ownership is part of your immediate goals or something you'd like to explore in the future, we're happy to have that conversation.
