Bariatric Surgeon Jobs in Pittsburgh, PA: Same Surgical Skills, a Better Way to Practice

You trained for years to become a Bariatric Surgeon. But across the country, rising case volumes, insurance hurdles and post-op complication coverage mean longer hours, heavier call and less time for life outside medicine. Top-tier Bariatric Surgeons shouldn’t have to give up their health, families and weekends for their careers. Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, is hiring Bariatric Surgeons in Pittsburgh, PA to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

Maybe you’re a Bariatric Surgeon ready to step away from back-to-back laparoscopic cases, prior-authorization battles and productivity targets at large health systems. Maybe you want clinical autonomy outside the high-pressure hospital environment. Either way, this no-call Bariatric Surgeon job offers a high-impact surgical career without the corporate red tape.

Why Bariatric Surgeons in Pittsburgh, PA Choose Wound Care

In a specialty where being on call can mean missed dinners, cancelled vacations and 2 a.m. calls about anastomotic leaks, we offer a refreshing alternative:

• The “No-Call” Lifestyle: No nights, no weekends and no pagers. No post-op complication calls, no 2 a.m. emergency cases. This is a true Monday–Friday surgeon job, so your evenings and weekends belong to you and your family.
• Keep Your Surgical Skills: Surgical debridement and bedside procedures stay part of your daily practice, so your procedural expertise stays in use every day.
• A Sustainable Surgical Career: Bedside procedures are far less physically demanding than long laparoscopic cases with awkward positioning on larger patients, so the strain on your back, neck, shoulders and hands goes down and you can keep practicing for years to come.
• Clinical Autonomy: Direct patient outcomes based on your surgical expertise, not a hospital committee or department hierarchy.
• Smarter Documentation: Our custom software is designed to slash admin time, so you’re not stuck charting at midnight when you could be home at a reasonable hour.
