Full-time · Shop just south of Pompano Beach in Fort Lauderdale · 6 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Now hiring a Diesel Fleet Mechanic to repair and maintain commercial fleet vehicles — mainly light and medium duty vans and box trucks, with some heavy duty trucks mixed in. Gas and diesel. The work is steady and the bays are always full.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

• 3+ years working as a mechanic or technician (diesel, fleet or automotive)
• A valid CDL — Class B minimum, Class A a plus — required for this role
• Real diagnostic ability with scan tools, multimeter and wiring diagrams
• A set of hand tools
• ASE certification is nice to have
• English or Spanish

DAY TO DAY

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections
• Diagnose check engine lights, no-starts and electrical faults
• Repair engines and drivetrains on gas and diesel fleet vehicles
• Handle brakes, suspension and steering
• Troubleshoot and repair A/C systems
• Work on aftertreatment — DPF, DEF, regens
• Service vans, straight trucks and box trucks (Isuzu NPR, Ford Transit, Freightliner)
• Test-drive trucks after repairs
