Position Type: Full-time
Location: Philippines (Remote)
Schedule: Full U.S. business hours for the initial 90-day onboarding period, with earlier schedule flexibility based on onboarding progress.
Our client is a strategic communications, PR, and digital firm partnering with high-stakes leaders, civic initiatives, and mission-driven innovators. We do not do cookie-cutter agency work. Our clients include a candidate running for mayor of Chicago, an advanced industrial facility transforming food waste into renewable energy, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood cancer, and ambitious early-stage businesses scaling into industry leaders.
We blend strategic storytelling with digital execution. What sets us apart in an increasingly automated world is genuine care: we listen closely to our clients, understand what matters deeply to them, and let that human insight shape every deliverable.
We are seeking an agile, intellectually curious, and high-EQ Digital Marketing, Web & Design Manager to serve as our central digital execution engine.
Role Progression: The role begins with a heavy focus on building and launching BLU Muskegon’s website. After launch, the focus broadens to design, social media, video editing, and client communications, alongside website maintenance and other duties.
This is not a siloed production role. "Manager" matters here: you will manage end-to-end deliverables, anticipate client needs, run projects independently, and when specialized technical challenges exceed in-house capacity, source, direct, and oversee specialist contractors within an approved budget.
You do not need to walk in the door knowing every platform (e.g., QuickBooks integrations or backend database logic). What you must possess is the resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, and drive to figure it out whether that means leveraging modern AI workflows, researching best practices, or consulting subject-matter experts. You will work directly with leadership to take rough concepts, voice memos, and client briefs across the finish line into polished, launch-ready assets.
Phase 1 Priority: The BLU Muskegon Web Build
Your first major assignment is owning the complete build and launch of the BLU Muskegon website. The site must mirror the clean aesthetic, authority, and seamless user experience of BioTown Ag, while functioning as a comprehensive business hub.
Key requirements for this build include:
Gated Investor Portal: Secure login environment housing confidential investor documentation and materials.
Self-Serve CMS: Intuitive backend architecture allowing internal non-technical staff to publish updates, press releases, and media easily.
Lead & Inquiry Routing: Integrated inquiry forms and video players configured to route incoming communications to specific stakeholders automatically.
Accounting & Payment Integration: Functional invoice payment workflow connected to QuickBooks.
Customer Sustainability Reporting: Secure customer dashboard presenting waste-processed data and associated decarbonization metrics.
Vendor Orchestration: Where custom development or specialist technical execution is necessary, you will identify freelance/contract talent, scope requirements, and manage their deliverables to launch within an agreed budget.
Video and inquiries: Display video cleanly across devices. Route website inquiries to the appropriate people.”
