Skilled Wound Care is hiring an Entry Level Medical Sales Representative (Business Development Associate) for a nationwide, field-based travel role. If you’re a recent college graduate or early-career professional who wants to break into healthcare sales, this role gives you structured sales training, mentorship from senior sales leaders, and a clear path to a full closing role.
No medical sales experience required. We’re looking for drive, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
At Skilled Wound Care, we don’t just fill roles. We build partnerships, and our culture is the foundation of everything we do. You’ll join a team that pushes each other to grow, shows up for one another, and shares in each other’s wins. We work hard, we have fun doing it, and we believe a great culture isn’t a perk. It’s how we operate every day.
Why Start Your Healthcare Sales Career at Skilled Wound Care?
- Competitive entry-level pay: a $73,000 base salary plus bonus potential that grows as you start closing accounts.
- Mentorship from senior sales leaders: you’re never alone. Your challenges become our challenges, and your wins become our wins.
- Clear career path: we develop leaders from within, and many of our senior closers started right where you are.
- Your voice matters: your ideas carry weight, and you help build the vision, not just carry it out.
- Integrity-first sales culture: no shortcuts and no pressure tactics. We win the right way.
- Full sales cycle exposure: hands-on experience in B2B healthcare sales within the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Long-Term Care (LTC) industry.
What You’ll Do as a Business Development Associate
- Prospecting and sales support: learn and help with prospecting, outreach, lead generation, and relationship-building with Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and Long-Term Care facilities nationwide, working alongside experienced closers.
- Territory development: help identify target accounts and learn how territory management and national market expansion strategy come together in the field.
- Consultative and clinical value selling: learn to explain the ROI of our physician-led wound care model to facility administrators, owners, and other decision-makers. Training and coaching are provided.
- Relationship management: build your own professional network with SNF staff, facility owners, and regional directors, mentored by senior team members.
- Team collaboration: share field insights, ask questions, and contribute to a team sales strategy that lifts everyone.
