You sit in the Sales department and report to the Regional Sales Training Lead.
M-KOPA is a pan-African fintech providing asset financing and credit to underserved customers. We have reached 10 million customers and extended $2B+ in credit. 86% of customers report a better quality of life, and 55% are accessing financial services for the first time. Our 2,300+ employees and 35,000+ field agents make it happen, and the Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs) you train are where every customer relationship begins.
This is a hybrid role, you would be working from our offices in Ghana, partnering with a diverse group of employees from our different markets and locations across the UK, Europe and Africa. You will be reporting to the Head of Sales.
Own the conversion of every newly recruited DSR, measured by F7 (at least 1 sale within 7 days of registration), F30 (at least 8 sales within 30 days) and F60 (at least 8 sales in the next calendar month after F30).
Deliver regular in-class onboarding per territory each month, plus DSR career training and FSM/SE training as required. Teach proper onboarding and KYC fidelity so Quality of Sales reaches 95%.
Build the annual training calendar from needs surveys, assessments and feedback. Define clear outcomes with stakeholders, design training that can be applied the day after, and document your results.
Keep DSRs informed during outages such as system downtime, credits not updating or internet issues.
Reach at least 80% satisfaction and make sure every team is trained and ready to perform.
At least a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and at least 18 months as a Sales Trainer.
Strong command of Learning Management Systems, excellent presentation and MS PowerPoint skills, and solid business strategy, reporting, coaching and data analysis skills.
Self-motivation, a drive for results and a professional approach. You can train effectively in English and a local language, and Twi is an added advantage.
The honest part
This role is accountable. Your DSR conversion numbers are visible, the 95% Quality of Sales and 80% satisfaction targets are real, and outages will ask you to communicate clearly at short notice. If you want your training judged by what your people go on to sell, you’re probably ready for exactly this.
