You will be responsible for owning and strengthening financial crime controls, ensuring our operational processes remain compliant with Anti-Money Laundering regulations across multiple jurisdictions, as well as Aviva’s Financial Crime Standards.

A strong understanding of AML, KYC and due diligence requirements, particularly within the private markets asset management environment, will be essential.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Proven experience operating and enhancing financial crime controls within an asset management environment, with a strong understanding of AML, KYC, customer due diligence, and wider regulatory requirements, particularly within the private markets sector.

• Strong experience applying risk-based decision-making, with confidence in conducting and reviewing customer due diligence using financial crime systems, screening tools, and third-party data provider.

• Strong understanding of complex corporate structures and financial crime processes, with the ability to take ownership, provide effective challenge, and drive positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment that requires agility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

• Experience influencing stakeholders and supporting decision-making in a regulated environment

• A professional qualification in financial crime (e.g. International Compliance Association), or equivalent would be desirable but not essential
