About the Role
Do you enjoy working with animals and providing compassionate, hands-on care? We’re looking for a dependable Kennel Technician to join our team! This position is responsible for the daily care of hospitalized patients and boarding pets, helping ensure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
What You'll Do
- Previous animal care experience required.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable handling and moving animals and lifting heavy objects.
- Compassionate, attentive, and willing to learn.
- Positive attitude and a strong team spirit. Smiles and laughter are always welcome!
What We're Looking For
- Must have previous animal experience
- Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects
- A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply
- Dependable and able to work independently
- The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
- A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
- References, background check, and drug testing are required
