The Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (NIVES) has proudly served the Fort Wayne area since 2004, offering the highest level of specialized and emergency animal care. Our roots date back to 1967, when this AAHA-accredited location began as a general veterinary practice. Over the past 20 years, we’ve grown into one of Indiana’s largest small animal emergency and specialty hospitals.
Our hospital provides advanced services in cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, and emergency and critical care. In 2015, NIVES became the only veterinary hospital in Indiana certified as a Level II Critical Care Facility, recognized for our ability to care for even the most life-threatening cases.
We’re proud to combine state-of-the-art technology—including CT, ultrasound, ECG, and digital X-ray—with a compassionate, team-driven approach to patient care.
We are seeking a caring and dependable Kennel Technician to join our 24-hour hospital team. This role is essential to maintaining the comfort, cleanliness, and safety of pets staying overnight for medical treatment or boarding.
If you love animals, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and find satisfaction in making sure pets are cared for and comfortable—even in the middle of the night—this position may be perfect for you.
