Here at Tarro we build products that empower small brick and mortar restaurants by liberating them of the operational burden of running their business. We accomplish this by providing a frictionless connection between them and their customers through our multi-product ecosystem offering AI-enabled order taking, delivery enablement, payment solutions, and point-of-sale software. At Tarro, we use a combination of bits (technology) and atoms (people) to solve real world problems facing small business owners.
We obsess over placing our customers first and working backwards from there. When our customers succeed, we succeed. The restaurant industry in the US is over a $1 trillion total addressable market (TAM), but remains relatively underserved by technology. Large chains are able to afford expensive tech that gives them a huge advantage; we believe that small restaurant owners deserve access to the same technologies at an affordable price.
Tarro has been profitable for nearly a decade and seen 5x revenue growth in the past four years. As of our last fundraising round in mid-2022, we were valued at $450M and have since seen substantial growth across customer acquisition, product development and company headcount. Thousands of loyal restaurants have entrusted Tarro with their success, and together we have supported nearly 20 million customers. We are proud to be named one of Built In’s top companies to work for in 2023.

The Manager, Growth & Strategy will act as a close partner to the Head of Growth & Strategy, helping to drive Tarro’s most critical growth workstreams while building toward owning them end-to-end. This role blends strategy and execution: structuring ambiguous problems, designing and testing GTM motions, and working hands-on with internal teams and clients to turn ideas into results. Over time, this person is expected to take ownership of mature growth motions and help scale Tarro’s overall growth engine as the company expands its scope.
You will partner with the Head of Growth & Strategy to design, test, and scale go-to-market motions across Tarro’s products
You will ake increasing ownership of mature cross-sell motions, including targets, playbooks, enablement, and performance tracking.
You will lead GTM experiments such as pricing tests, new cross-sell motions, and bundling strategies; analyze results and make clear recommendations.
You will own growth analytics and performance tracking across the funnel, including top-of-funnel, conversion rates, activation, and post-close performance.
You will set up, maintain, and continuously improve growth and sales operations processes, including CRM tooling (e.g. Salesforce), dashboards, and reporting cadence
You will work closely with internal teams, including Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Operations, to influence execution, improve adoption, and unblock bottlenecks.
You will be client-facing: join sales and cross-sell calls, conduct client discovery, and refine talk tracks and sales coaching based on real conversations.
Own and scale the cross-sell motion of one to two Tarro products including day-to-day execution, performance management, sales enablement, rollout and iteration
Build a repeatable growth operating cadence for cross-sell motions (targets, tracking, reviews, and iteration) that can be reused across future products.
Hire and manage 1–2 team members to support growth initiatives, while effectively leading through influence across non-direct reports.
You have 4 to 8 years of experience in growth, strategy, consulting, revenue operations, or GTM roles in fast-paced environments (tech, startups, or adjacent).
You have advanced analytical and modeling skills; able to define metrics, track funnel performance, and translate data into decisions.
You have a proven ability to design and improve processes, especially in ambiguous, cross-functional settings.
You are comfortable using modern tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve analysis, productivity, and decision-making.
You are fluent in Mandarin and English; comfortable speaking with restaurant owners and frontline operators
You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer.
You have knowledge of go-to-market design: pricing, sales motions, cross-sell / upsell, and experimentation.
You have prior experience working closely with sales or customer-facing teams, including sales coaching or enablement.
You have experience hiring and developing early-career team members.
You have hands-on experience setting up and running growth or sales operations processes, including CRM systems such as Salesforce, dashboards, and reporting workflows.
You have experience applying AI tools (e.g. LLMs, automation, analytics assistants) in growth, ops, or GTM contexts.
You have a roll up your sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.
If you do not meet all the requirements listed above which candidates rarely do, don't worry. We still encourage you to apply!
