Essor, where brands take flight. We find digital challenger brands and supercharge them into iconic global legends that consumers love. As a next-generation consumer products platform, we leverage technology, industry expertise, and strategic collaborations to ignite growth and launch brands beyond expectations.
Essor’s brand portfolio today includes a broad range of rapidly growing health & wellness and lifestyle brands like Boka, ZitSticka, Puracy, OTOTO Design, FreshCap, Iron Flask, Fullstar, NumNum, Key Nutrients, and Viking Revolution that are sold on Amazon, Direct to Consumer channels, and through national retailers like Target, CVS, and Walmart.
At Essor, we are at the forefront of leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to challenge traditional ways of working. We are empowered to engage technology-driven initiatives. We want individuals who are hands-on, curious, and excited to be part of this journey. We expect Essorians to actively leverage AI, data, and automation to drive impact in their daily work. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of AI coding agents to automate tasks (e.g., Copilot, Antigravity), development of automated or agentic workflows (e.g., N8N, Dify), and engagement with data analysis tools (including SQL where relevant). While mastery is not required at the outset, rapid learning, technical fluency, and continuous upskilling are core expectations. The company will support your growth through guidance and coaching, and you are expected to actively develop and apply your skills as part of your role.
The Retail Marketing & Social Media Manager will own retail marketing, retail media, PR, and organic social for Viking Revolution — the #1 beard care brand on Amazon, now scaling fast in retail at Walmart and Sprouts. This role connects Retail Sales, Creative, our PR agency, and retailer media teams (including Walmart Connect) to bring retail launches and brand moments to life across every account and every channel.
You will directly execute organic social and creator strategy across Instagram and TikTok, leveraging AI tools to create, test, and scale content, while also owning our retail media campaigns and managing our PR agency relationship.
The ideal candidate is equal parts project manager, marketer, creator, and analyst — someone who thrives on managing retail launches, leveraging retail media and creator content to drive growth, and using data to continuously optimize performance.
You will also create and run Viking Revolution’s master marketing calendar — the single source of truth for retail, retail media, PR, and social — so every launch, promotion, press moment, and post lands on time and in sync.
Viking Revolution is a dedicated team with a decade of growth behind it — committed, ownership-minded, and still pushing boundaries. We’re looking for a new team member to lead the next chapter of brand building and marketing for Viking, bringing the same energy to retail, social, and PR that got us here.
Brand Strategy & Campaigns
• Execute Viking Revolution's brand strategy across every channel — PR, affiliates, advocates, and organic social — keeping voice and positioning consistent everywhere the brand shows up.
• Lead quarterly brand campaigns from concept through launch, briefing in creative, copy and partners, and seeing each one through to posting and press.
Brand Calendar
• Own the overall brand calendar: set and communicate priorities by channel, so PR, social, advocate and affiliate activity line up with each quarter's campaign instead of competing for attention.
PR & Affiliates
• Lead the day-to-day relationship with our PR agency: set priorities, run regular check-ins, review plans, and manage scope and budget.
• Brief the agency on launches, brand news and campaign moments; review and approve pitches, releases, and talking points.
• Build and run Viking's affiliate program: recruit affiliate partners, keep them supplied with assets and offers, and track performance.
• Track PR coverage and affiliate results, and hold both programs to agreed goals.
Barber & Brand Advocates
• Build and run a Barber Brand Advocate program: identify barbers who embody the brand, bring them on, and keep them active with product, content and support.
• Manage Viking's retail influencer relationships, briefing them on in-store moments and new distribution and turning their content into brand assets.
Organic Social & Community Management
• Own organic social strategy for TikTok and Instagram — the content pillars, the calendar, and the goals behind them.
• Create the assets and write the copy yourself, and own posting and scheduling.
• Manage community engagement: replies, DMs and comments, keeping the brand voice confident, masculine and approachable.
• Identify emerging platform trends in grooming and men's lifestyle content and turn them into testable content formats.
Sample Fulfillment
• Coordinate and ship product samples to press, affiliates, advocates and influencers, keeping inventory and requests organized so nothing falls through the cracks.
• 4+ years of experience in brand marketing, PR, or social/community management, ideally at a consumer brand (men's grooming, personal care, or CPG) or an agency.
• Experience managing a PR agency and/or an affiliate program, with a track record of results you can show us.
• Experience building an advocate, influencer or ambassador program — barbers, retail influencers, or a similar creator community.
• A track record of growing organic social channels with work you can show us; strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram ecosystems, trends, and formats.
• Brand Strategy: Comfortable setting brand priorities for a quarter and translating them into a calendar, a campaign brief, and the posts and pitches that bring it to life.
• AI-Native Mindset: You don't just know what AI is — you actively integrate it into your daily workflow, from AI-assisted content creation to automating reporting and outreach.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills, able to run a brand calendar and manage multiple programs — PR, affiliates, advocates, social, sampling — at once.
• Communication: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of managing agency, affiliate, and advocate partners directly.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve quickly and initiative is rewarded.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with men's grooming, lifestyle, or other omnichannel brands that sell both online and in retail.
• Experience with barber, influencer, or creator partnerships specifically.
• Experience running an affiliate program (e.g. ShareASale, Impact, Refersion, or similar platforms).
• Basic photo and video shooting and editing skills.
