PRN Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Company: River Rock Behavioral Therapy, a Finni Health company
Job Type: PRN
Location: In-person – Anderson, IN and surrounding areas
Pay: $20-$25 per hour
Are you passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential and looking for the flexibility to work on your own terms?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team on an as-needed basis! This role provides ABA therapy coverage — filling in for scheduled sessions, supporting new clients as they onboard, and helping our clinical team stay consistent for the families we serve.
About the Role
As a PRN RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the same as our full-time RBTs — the difference is flexibility. There's no guaranteed weekly schedule; instead, you'll be called on to cover sessions as needs arise, and you can accept or decline shifts based on your availability. It's a great fit for RBTs who want supplemental income, a flexible schedule, or a lower-commitment way to stay active in the field. Because consistency matters for our clients' progress, we do ask PRN team members to maintain reliable, regular availability rather than sporadic pickup — shifts are offered based on caseload need and your demonstrated availability.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
Collect and record accurate session data
Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals
Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families
Communicate availability proactively and respond promptly to shift requests
Participate in required training and supervision related to ABA
Qualifications
Current RBT Certification (required)
Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed
Availability to accept shifts on short notice (preferred, not required)
Ability to maintain reliable, regular availability for scheduled shifts
What We Offer
Competitive PRN pay: $20–$25 per hour
Flexible scheduling — choose the shifts that work for you
Supervision toward BCBA/BCaBA certification
Ongoing training and supervision by experienced BCBAs
Opportunity to transition to a full-time role as caseload allows
Company-provided iPad for session documentation
Note: As a PRN role, this position does not carry a guaranteed weekly schedule and is not eligible for health, dental, or vision benefits.
Background Check
All candidates must pass a background check. Employment offers are contingent upon successful screening results to ensure the safety of the children and families we serve.
Must be at least 18 years of age to meet regulatory, background check, and BACB eligibility requirements for behavioral healthcare providers.
