Mentor mid-level and junior engineers on design, troubleshooting, and secure practices
Review infrastructure-as-code changes, provide technical feedback
Drive resolution of complex Tier 3 incidents and document root-cause findings
Operate within Agile frameworks (sprints, standups, retrospectives)
Identify and resolve infrastructure gaps and automation opportunities proactively
Document infrastructure decisions, runbooks, and operational procedures

What you’ll need:

5 years of cloud engineering/infrastructure experience
2 years in classified or highly regulated government environments
Cloud platform experience (e.g: AWS, Azure, or multi-cloud); AWS GovCloud strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g.: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Experience with containerization/orchestration (e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation

Bonus Points if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (certifications may substitute)
Experience owning infrastructure design decisions
Experience with identity/access management, networking, and cloud security controls
Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers
