Senior Manager, Growth Technology Lead

Why join us?

Mitti by SafetyCulture is a global tech company, just not the kind you're picturing. Our almost 1,000-person team builds tools that make work better for the three billion frontline workers who keep the world moving. We've got big tech scale, without the sign-off layers or corporate theatre. This next chapter is about scaling smart, powered by AI, a clear vision and real ownership.

Big tech impact, without the big tech ick.

The role:

Mitti is looking for a Senior Manager, Growth Technology Lead to build and run the systems and growth programs that turn marketing and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy into pipeline and revenue, across both our self-serve, product-led growth (PLG) motion and our sales-managed, enterprise motion. This is a hybrid leadership role: part growth marketer, part technologist, part people leader — you'll have three direct reports and will be expected to mentor and grow them, not just direct their output. You'll lead a team of Marketing Technology & Ops Managers, own the Marketing technology roadmap and Marketing's data infrastructure, and build the automations, workflows, and experimentation infrastructure that let Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations (RevOps) move faster and convert better. You're not just running campaigns or maintaining tools; you're designing the growth engine itself: identifying where pipeline is being left on the table across both motions, building the technical and operational systems to capture it, and leading a team that can both strategise and ship.

What you'll do:

Marketing Technology Leadership:

• Own and evolve the Marketing technology roadmap, defining the strategy, prioritisation, and sequencing of investments in tooling and data across the entire Marketing function.

• Identify and close structural gaps in the funnel across self-serve and sales-managed motions, including lead surfacing, conversion, dunning, retention, and expansion triggers. Design systems that fix issues at the root, not just the symptom.

• Lead, grow, and mentor a team of three, creating a culture of ownership, experimentation, and high performance.

• Take ownership of Marketing's data infrastructure, partnering with Data & Analytics to build in-house data capabilities, including a Marketing-owned Postgres lakehouse, so the team can access, model, and act on marketing data with greater autonomy and speed.

• Represent Marketing Technology at a senior leadership level, bringing forward major initiatives, building stakeholder confidence in the team's roadmap, and demonstrating commercial impact.

• Establish and maintain project delivery rigour across the team, tracking workload, managing cross-functional dependencies, and engaging external stakeholders early enough to avoid bottlenecks.

• Direct the team's use of the marketing technology stack, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Customer.io, Segment, Workato, and Temporal, to build automated, repeatable growth workflows without owning the underlying platform architecture.

Experimentation & Optimisation:

• Build and prioritise an experimentation roadmap across acquisition, lifecycle, and expansion, connected directly to pipeline and revenue impact rather than vanity metrics.

• Build a team culture of experimentation through rapid test-and-learn cycles, clear success criteria, and fast kill-or-scale decisions.

• Own reporting and insight-sharing on what's working, what isn't, and why, partnering with Data & Analytics to keep measurement rigorous.

• Continuously evaluate and pilot AI-powered tools and workflows to increase team output and shorten the time from idea to shipped programme.

Cross-Functional Partnership:

• Partner closely with Sales leadership and Revenue Operations (RevOps) to ensure growth programmes are directly tied to New Business and Expansion targets.

• Work with Data & Analytics to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the funnel, including Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) and Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and retention and expansion signals.

• Represent Growth and Marketing's voice in cross-functional planning, acting as the connective layer between Marketing strategy and GTM Engineering's technical roadmap.

AI skills:

• Actively use AI tools daily to accelerate and improve your work, from automating workflows and generating content to analysing data and prototyping solutions, while creating the conditions for your team to do the same.

• Bring a clear point of view on where AI creates durable competitive advantage versus where off-the-shelf solutions are sufficient, with a track record of building AI-powered capabilities that ship and create measurable impact, not just proof-of-concept work.

• Evaluate AI-generated output critically, understand the limitations of models and tooling, and apply appropriate quality standards before shipping AI-powered systems to internal or external users.

What you will bring:

We're looking for a growth technology leader who can combine strategic marketing leadership with technical build, lead and mentor a high-performing team, and connect systems and experimentation directly to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

About you:

• Proven experience leading a team that combines growth marketing and technical build; you can direct both a campaign brief and a workflow build.

• A track record of building systems, such as lifecycle automation, trigger-based outreach, dunning and retention flows, and expansion triggers, that measurably moved pipeline or revenue.

• A track record of leading and mentoring a team — this role has three direct reports — across a mix of skill sets, including marketing generalists and technical builders, and growing them into more capable, more autonomous operators.

• Comfortable operating in the MarTech stack, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Customer.io, Segment, Workato, or equivalent, at a working level. You don't need to build the platform, but you need to know what's possible on it.

• Strong commercial acumen. You think in pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and payback, and you can defend a roadmap in front of Sales and RevOps leadership.

• A builder mindset: you'd rather design a repeatable system than run a one-off campaign, and you use AI tools to scale your team's output rather than add headcount.
