Alta Ares is an air defense Neoprime. We build AI-guided interceptors to counter drones and cruise missiles, along with the software platform that powers them.
Our customers are NATO-aligned militaries and defense institutions, and our systems are regularly deployed during live exercises and operational demonstrations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Founded in 2024, we have grown to 90 people, raised over $60M, and increased revenue 40× this year. We are now entering a new phase of international expansion, industrial scaling, fundraising, and product development.
Alta Ares is growing fast across Engineering, Sales, Operations, and more. We don't always have the right opening at the right time — but we believe the best hires often come before the job description exists.
If you are exceptional at what you do, care deeply about European defence sovereignty, and want to work at the edge of AI and real-world military operations — we want to hear from you now.
We are always interested in outstanding profiles across our core domains:
Engineering & Technology Embedded software, avionics, computer vision, real-time AI/ML, robotics, high-speed interceptor systems, RF systems, systems engineering
Defense & Operations Former military officers and NCOs, defence programme managers, field operators, C-UAS or ISR specialists
Sales & Business Development Defence sales, NATO/EU/UK institutional BD, capture management, strategic partnerships
Product & Data Product managers with hardware/software experience, data scientists, MLOps engineers
Corporate Functions Finance, legal, HR, operations, communications — with a strong preference for profiles with defence or deeptech exposure
There is no single mould — but the people who thrive here tend to share a few things:
They have done hard things in demanding environments — whether that's deploying software on a battlefield, closing a complex government contract, or building a function from scratch in a lean team
They are mission-driven and genuinely care about the outcome, not just the job title
They operate with high autonomy — they identify problems, propose solutions, and execute without waiting to be told
They are rigorous and precise — in defence, the margin for error is zero
They bring humility and resilience — the work is difficult, the stakes are real, and the environment is fast
Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market benchmarks
Meaningful equity / stock options in a fast-scaling deeptech startup
Direct access to founders and leadership from day one
Work on programmes that matter — real deployments, real operational environments, real impact
International team across Paris, Kyiv, NYC, and UAE
A high-trust, mission-driven culture where ownership is the norm
